Linen Care

How to Take Care of Linen Clothes

WASHING

Most Linen can be washed by hand or on a gentle cold machine setting. If washing by hand is your thing then make sure not to wring it out as this can create unwanted twists in the fibres. If a washing machine is your thing then use a cold to lukewarm temperature with a mild detergent. Never hang linen in direct sunlight as it will toughen the fibres and get that yucky scratchy feeling. Always hang inside. One of the amazing things about linen is that it actually gets softer wash after wash so no need for fabric softener!

DRYING

Due to the fast drying nature of linen, you can easily leave it out to air dry inside and be ready to wear in no time!

Your linen clothing can be tumble dried on a gentle cycle at low heat. Once the cloth is damp, remove it from the dryer and hang it to dry in the shade

You can leave your linen to dry flat on a towel or rack for the best results.

Part of loving your linen is accepting that it may crease during the. day, but know this is an inherent feature of the fabric that adds to an effortless style with appeal.
